Our members

Since we formed Industry in 2015 we have welcomed lots of great people onboard. Along with a core of close-knit full time residents, regular part time members create a vibrant atmosphere and a fun, amiable space to work.

Our members, freelancers and remote employees, work in very different roles but all share the same view; the most rewarding aspect of coworking is being part of a friendly team.

I moved to Chester and started working remotely so I was excited when I found a coworking space - I knew I wouldn’t survive working from home. The building and facilities are top notch, but most importantly, the other members are so down to earth and fun that I look forward to going in everyday. I couldn’t have wished for a better space to call my second home.

Industry has been invaluable in opening up the box room I was cooped up in for so long; instead of relaying emails to quell work-related doubts there’s a group of generous people at arms reach; fostering a real sense of collaboration and sometimes play. Something you can only imitate over an internet connection.

The coffee is damn good too!

I joined Industry as I had recently moved to Handbridge. It has been a fantastic place to come and work in recent months, it has kept me and my wife sane.

I will continue to come even when company offices re-open. I like the character of the place and range of spaces available to work in, large desks, the other hub workers and great WiFi.

Industry is a really friendly and welcoming place. You can be really productive surrounded by a bunch of creative people. The building has a lot of warmth and character and is located in a picturesque part of town. Did I mention the coffee is great as well?

When I spent a few days in Chester I needed a place to work and found Industry, I found the atmosphere very pleasant and the people working in the studio very nice.

A few months later I moved to Chester and knew I wanted to join, I even looked for a home in walking distance. Andrew and Rhys make you feel belonging to something rather than just renting a desk for a few hours or a full day, the space, social activities, people's interaction, is one of the reasons why this is not only a good space to work, but also a place where you can spend good time while you work, especially as a freelancer

Great package of facilities, atmosphere, flexibility and freshly ground coffee. Flexible desk layout with plenty of opportunity for quiet space, realistic pricing and flexible booking system.

Got some good tips and intros from co-workers and enjoy the socials.

Andrew and Rhys work hard to make the space welcoming and friendly, respond very quickly and take great care to get things right, seen that especially in their post covid opening arrangements.
